Costa de la Luz
The Costa de la Luz is a largely unspoilt sweep of coastline stretching from Tarifa, the southernmost tip of Europe, to the Portuguese border. It is one of the largest Spanish coasts yet it is still unknown and remains relatively under developed.
Most of the coastline is protected national parkland and includes the world famous Donana National Park and the Parque Natural Los Alcornocales - there are also many protected marine parks.
The province of Cadiz has something for everyone there is a huge choice of scenery and activities, great restaurants, bars and nightlife. The beaches here are beautiful with white sands backed by dunes and pine forests and have long been a favourite with windsurfers.
Often described as Spain's `Final Frontier' new developments are still few and far between but over the last 2 or 3 years new roads and have made it more accessible and most of the coastal towns can now be reached within 40mins from Jerez airport and within an hour from Gibraltar.
Property here is around 60% below the equivalent on the Costa del Sol and we believe that buyers will see prices rise considerably over the next few years.
We now have a number of resale properties in and around Conil de la Fronterra and are currently looking at and researching new developments we like and are happy to recommend to our clients.
